GCSE Results Day 2025

We are delighted to share that our students’ GCSE results have improved significantly this year. More students are achieving both standard and strong passes in English and Maths and overall attainment across all subjects has risen. These results show that the ongoing improvements to our academy are having a real impact, helping more students achieve their potential.

Mr Coles, Principal at The Wells Academy, said:

“I am incredibly proud of all our students for their hard work and dedication, which is reflected in this year’s exam results. At Wells, we place great emphasis on our core values of integrity, resilience and ambition so it is inspiring to see how our students have lived out these values in their studies. Every grade achieved represents countless hours of effort, determination and perseverance.

These achievements would not have been possible without the incredible commitment of our brilliant staff, who go above and beyond every day to ensure our students are supported, challenged and inspired. I would also like to thank our students’ families, whose encouragement and belief in our children have been a vital part of their success. We wish all our students the very best for the future.”
